Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 7 months old | 10 lbs

Hi, my cat just ate 2 of my indigestion tablets. Should i be worried? I don't know if its matters at all but the tablets were some over the counter meds not a strong one that a doctor might would.prescribe. He ate it about half an hr ago and he still acts normal.

In order to give you the best advice we would need to know the name of the medication. Can you please post again with that information? Cats are VERY sensitive to over the counter medications so it could very well be something toxic that he ingested and he may not show any symptoms of toxicity right away.

If you could also give us his approximate weight that would be helpful as well.
