Is Bio Pro bug killer safe for my cat if sprayed on houseplants?

Hello. This really depends on the product used. Some allow pets out immediately, some require watering in, while others are safe after the product has dried ( if sprayed on ). In most cases, it should be safe to allow your cat out a full 24 hours after a product has been applied, & this may be the safest regardless of which product was used. Hello. It is always best to be safe than to be sorry. If you are at all unsure about a plant, it may be best to either move it to a room the cat cannot get access to, or rehome the plant. At the proper concentration, Neem Oil is generally considered safe. It is not listed as a toxic plant product for pets per the ASPCA Poison Control Center or Pet Poison Helpline. In its undiluted form though, Neem Oil can potentially irritate the skin surface, especially on already-irritated skin, or if left on for more than 24 hours at a time. In addition, if a non-diluted or insufficiently diluted product is used on a pet and the product is consumed, then a pet could exhibit excessive salivation, appetite changes, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. At the dilution rate you described there should be no issues and I think it will be fine to use. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Etofenprox is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide, and cats are quiet sensitive to pyrethroids. I do not recommend using pyrethroid medications to my clients due to the risk for toxicity. The dog product may have a higher concentration and be more likely to cause toxicity. Affected cats will have involuntary muscle tremors or seizure activity. You could bathe both cats with Dawn dish soap to remove any remaining topical medication and contact a veterinarian immediately if you see any signs. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think it is fine if they sit on your lap after you come inside. Unless you saturate yourself and are still damp with spray they should be fine. Your pets can get sick if they lick to much of it. I hope this helps!

Hello. Most sprays are safe for pets once the spray has dried, or has been watered into the lawn. I would be sure there are no food or water bowls that might have been sprayed. Either toss them or wash in hot soapy water. The same goes for any chew toys out there. But generally, once a spray has dried, or the area has been watered down & allowed to dry, pets can roam freely, again. The only concerns would be if your dog eats a lot of grass, or finds something to chew on that was left out & sprayed, so keep an eye out for this.
