Hi, I have three cats staying with me now. they are on royal canon. my fiancé is getting one more kitten. and the breeder told him that royal canon is not a wise choice. so the breeder suggest us to try concept for life. I would really like to know which brand is the best for our Norwegians and Scottish fold?

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach!
I also like Royal Canin the best from what you listed. I do not recommend cooking for cats as they have very specific amino acid requirements and can become very sick if they do not receive a proper diet. The best thing for Noushmc is to be fed a well balanced commercial cat food. You can pay for a Vet to help develop a home cooked diet at this website: https://secure.balanceit.com/
I wish you and Noushmc the best!

I would recommend trusting your veterinarian over a breeder, whom has no formal training or education in nutrition. I personally had never heard of Concept for life food until now and after seeing that this food doesn't have the stamp of approval from AAFCO (The Association of American Feed Control Officials), I wouldn't feed it to my pets. This is the absolute standard that a pet food has to have for me to even remotely recommend it to any pet, because they set unbiased standards that each pet food has to have to get their stamp of approval.
Royal Canin is a great food and can be trusted.
