Why does my leopard gecko have a bubble or lump under its skin?

Your gecko may have a small abscess that has formed because of a wound/injury. If you are unable to take her to the vet just keep an eye on it for now. Keep an eye on it. It may be "normal" for your gecko or it could be localized trauma or infection. If it gets bigger or affects his eating, then have him examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles.

The area in question may be local irritation or infection. Monitor it for resolution or spread. It will likely disappear at the next shedding. If it gets worse or if Peaches develops lethargy or decreased appetite, then have her examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles to diagnose injury or infection.

This is not normal but appears to be a small abscess, possible from a piece of retained shed, trauma like a splinter or trauma from rubbing the nose on things. If he will let you, a warm compress might help organize the lesions. Likely this will open and drain, but if it persists, a veterinarian should be seen. Good luck.

Oh, your poor little Gecko! That's rough! Are you sure it is a female? The two things coming out the back end may be hemipenes as the males have two bulges on the underside fo the tale where their hemipenes are. If that is what is going on, it means a vet needs to try to put them back or or they may need to be amputated. Also, your little friend may need some anti inflammatory meds to reduce swelling after being stuck like that.

This presentation could be due to a trauma or localized spot of skin infection (likely to be caused by bacteria). I would recommend to monitor it for the moment to see if it spreads or resolve at all. Should it deteriorate (bigger, more spots or swollen), a check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) may be needed to solve the problem. In the meantime you can swab the infected area with a diluted povidone-iodine solution twice daily.
