Is my 5-month-old vaccinated puppy safe to play with other dogs?

Yes, as long as the other dog is fully vaccinated this should not be a problem. If the other dog is around dog parks or goes to boarding facilities, then I would try and distance the two dogs while they are in the same household. Congratulations on your new puppy! Red can interact with other dogs when he has had all of core vaccines which include rabies, bordetella (kennel cough) and a combination distemper vaccine. His rabies vaccine can be given after he is 12 weeks old and he should receive at least three distemper vaccines (usually given at 6, 9, and 12 weeks). As long as Dallas is healthy, it should be fine for Phoenix and Dallas to interact with supervision. I think it is fine that she plays with a healthy vaccinated dog and to be walked on side walks. No dog parks or boarding until 2 weeks past her final vaccinations. Have a great day!

Hi there. As long as your puppy is current on her puppy vaccine series and the adult dog is healthy and vaccinated, there's no reason that they can't spend some time together. Just make sure that the older dog likes puppies and enjoys the interaction too!

Your younger dog will learn their boundaries and what behaviors are acceptable and not. Before bringing your young puppy out to play in public with any other dogs, be sure that he/she is fully vaccinated (finished with his/her puppy vaccine series).
