My senior dog with Addison's is sneezing and bleeding. What's wrong?

Poor girl! It sounds like she has some allergies! You can try giving her 1/2 tablet of a 25mg Benadryl to see if this helps but with her having blood from her nose this could be something more serious like a fungal infection or a tumor in the nose so I would have your vet do an exam on her and maybe some skull X-rays. Also if her paws are dry looking she could have a bacterial or yeast infection between her toes or Paw pads. Your vet will be able to look at her pads again and see if she needs medicine for that as well. your vet will also be able to put her on a stronger allergy medicine if needed. Poor Bailey! Coughing up blood along with bleeding from the nose are quite serious, and I would take her into the vet now. This bleeding could be a sign of ulcers, an inability to clot blood, liver failure, respiratory disease, or cancer. Unfortunately, cancer is always a possibly in an old dog, and if she did have cancer that had spread to her lungs, it could cause these signs. I would take her into a vet right away. The vet can do routine blood tests, a urinalysis, x-rays, and possibly blood clotting tests to see what is causing her to cough up blood and have nose bleeds. Once the cause is found, the vet can determine what, if any, treatment is appropriate for her.

I recommend to call your vet and have Tedy examined. When things develop suddenly, there is a concern that this is a disease. Older dogs can develop autoimmune conditions, hypothyroidism or this could be something like ringworm (which humans can get). Unfortunately, there's not much you can do because Tedy will lick off anything you put on the area. I hope this helps.

Im so sorry Luna isnt feeling well. Given her age and breed, the most likely culprit is allergies or an upper respiratory infection. The nose can be so inflamed from the aforementioned problems, it can start to bleed. Other unlikely causes are a foreign material stuck in the nose, high blood pressure, or (least likely) a mass in the nose. You should have her seem for the appropriate treatment. Hope this helps!

Poor Daisy! She is an older girl, and unfortunately this sneezing with blood in her snot could be due to a malignant growth (cancer) in her nasal cavity. It could also be due to a foreign body, fungal infection, or respiratory infection. Because this has been ongoing for a while, it's best that Daisy is seen by a vet either today or tomorrow. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, x-rays, and may look up her nasal cavity with an endoscope to diagnose what is causing her symptoms. Once a cause is found, the vet can discuss treatment options with you.

The big question is the nasal discharge, especially the bloody one is it from one nostril or is it from both? If it is from one then I highly recommend going for advanced imaging of Max's nose. Poor Mazie! A fungal infection like aspergillosis is certainly one possible cause of persistent sneezing and nosebleeds that are not resolved with antibiotics. Other possibilities would include a nasal foreign body, or a nasal tumor. I would recommend talking to your veterinarian about the next steps from here to try and get a diagnosis. In many cases, referral to a specialist for rhinoscopy and a CT scan is needed to determine the problem.
