My puppy is tired with bloody stool after his vaccine, is it normal?

  Blood in stools is not normal after vaccination and you should get your dog checked by your vet. It could be due to gastro-intestinal infection or colic. In this cause your dog may need a different type of antibiotics for a few days to get better.

  Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It looks like Amore has blood and mucus in her stool. This can be a sign of intestinal parasites, a viral infection, or a foreign body obstruction. I recommend that she is seen by a vet as soon as possible - sooner than the 13th would be best. You should bring a sample of Amore's stool with you in a disposable container to allow your vet to check the stool for evidence of parasites.   Bloody stool in a young dog that isn't vaccinated is a concerning sign. It's possible the cause could be from illness, internal parasites, irritation of the digestive tract, or more. Since it has continued for more than a day it is best to schedule a veterinary appointment to have it checked out. Be sure to note if you see any other symptoms develop such as vomiting, diarrhea, changes to appetite, etc.

  She needs to be taken back to your vet. There is a chance that she is suffering from a parvovirus infection or a disease called hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. She will likely need blood work, iv fluids and antibiotic medication as well as pain medication.
