My puppy has blood in her poop after vaccinations, is it serious?

It could have been from his nails or paws which may not be easily evident. It could of course be from anywhere else. If you notice where it is coming from (like coming from the urine) or it continues to happen and you cannot find out where it is coming from, I recommend that you have Chico evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment. They could perform a very thorough examination to look for a source of bleeding and perform any diagnostics like a urinalysis if needed. Hopefully this is nothing concerning. I am concerned that Pepper is not drinking water and could become dehydrated. For this reason, I recommend you have Pepper evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Luke's runny poop could be caused by intestinal worms (if he's not up to date with his deworming treatments), or it could be a GI illness or he ate something rotten. The drop of blood in his poop could due to to irritation of the GI tract from the diarrhea. Since's his poop is normal now, just keep an eye on him for now. If you keep seeing blood in his poop or he has runny poops, I'd take him into the vet. I hope this helps!

Bloody stool and lethargy could be an adverse reaction to the vaccination. I recommend taking your puppy in to the veterinarian asap due to the high probability that he is having a severe reaction and needs immediate treatment to help stabilize his condition. Hi there. Poor Ruby! It definitely sounds like she's teething-puppies go through this stage of putting everything in their mouths the same as humans. Since Ruby is not 4 months or more yet, she is still not considered fully vaccinated. If her vaccines were home vaccines and are from a store over the counter-sometimes they are improperly stored and provide poor immunity. Any time there is blood in the stool it warrants a trip to your veterinarian right away, as your puppy can be very sick when showing this symptom. You should get her to a vet asap her age and history of no shots could attribute the the blood to parvovirus. Hopefully it is a minor gastroenteritis but the chance of parvovirus is very real. Parvovirus needs to be diagnosed quickly and tratment instigated rapidly.
