Why is my 7-week-old puppy throwing up food and clear liquid?

This is definitely concerning - if your pup is not current on her booster vaccines, I would be very worried that she may have parvo. She may also have an upset stomach due to something she has eaten. If she is acting normal otherwise, you can try withholding food for the next 12 hours to help settle her stomach, then offer some plain boiled chicken and white rice. If she continues to vomit even though you aren't feeding her, or if she is acting lethargic or having any other symptoms, then I would recommend having her seen tonight by an emergency vet if possible as she may have a serious problem.

The clear liquid vomit in puppies is not too concerning to me at this rate. This indicates that the puppy may have some mild stomach irritation or is drinking water too fast. If it continues to happen once every other day, then I wouldn't be too worried. This should pass in a week or two. If it's multiple times a day, or is continually happening every other day for multiple weeks, then I'd be a little more concerned and would advise a visit to the vet. Poor pup. It is possible he just has an upset stomach from something he got into. Try feeding him a bland diet of boiled plain chicken or lean ground turkey and white rice for the next few meals to see if this can settle his stomach. So cute! She could have a parasite, infection, or an upset stomach from something she ate. You could take a stool sample to her vet and have it tested for parasites and then your vet can prescribe an appropriate dewormer based on the results. You could also add a probiotic to her diet and see if that helps, too.

She may have a cold or kennel cough. They get this from other dogs and it causes a lot of coughing and often some nasal discharge. When dogs cough they also sometimes vomit a small amount as a result so I'm not overly concerned about the vomiting if Rainey is otherwise normal. Keep her quiet to reduce the coughing, and away from other dogs as this can be infectious. She should be better in a few days to a weeek or so. It also could be due to a throat irritation from eating the bark and other items. Same thing though, with time this should resolve on its own. If she should get worse and stops eating or starts more vomiting then it's time for a veterinary exam and treatment. It sounds as Lilly is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

She could have ate something that has upset her stomach, she could have intestinal parasites or a more serious viral infection (vaccines are designed to prevent these).
