Why is my 7-week puppy sick, dry heaving, won't vomit, and bloated?

With these symptoms in such a young puppy I would be concerned about intestinal parasites (hookworms, roundworms, coccidia), parvovirus or a congenital defect. I would recommend taking the young pup to the vet to be checked out. If the puppy is not eating well or is losing a lot of fluids through vomiting and diarrhea then she will most likely need supportive care. I hope this helps. I would recommend a vet check to determine if there are nay underlying medical causes but the fact she eats well is a good sign. Monitor for regular stools and no pain or vomiting and ensure she is dewormed regularly with an appropriate puppy wormer (every 2-4 weeks depending on the product). Keep her isolated from other dogs (especially dog parks etc) until she is fully up to date with her vaccines

He could have an infection or a parasite causing the vomiting and diarrhea. He should be examined by a vet for treatment. Your vet can test a fecal sample to determine if he has a parasite and then prescribe medications to help treat the problem.

Poor girl. Unfortunately my major concern here is that Winnie may have a foreign body. I would highly recommend fasting her for 6hrs and then offer her a small portion of boiled plain chicken or lean ground turkey and white rice and small amounts of non-flavored Pedialyte to keep her hydrated until you can get her seen by your vet. The vet needs to do a complete physical examination and likely will recommend x-rays if a foreign body ingestion is suspected. Best case scenario is that Winnie has a really upset stomach from something she ingested and not a true obstruction. However, the next best thing is to get her seen by your vet as soon as they are open in the morning. I do hope that Winnie feels better soon! Best of luck and take care

Abby needs to be examined by the veterinarian today. She is too young to be protected from diseases and certain viruses, including Parvo, can present like this. Other possible causes of vomiting include parasites, eating something she shouldn’t have or getting in to medications...etc. Abby is too young to have the reserves of adult dogs and so she needs intervention earlier. Bring in a sample of stool for testing for Parvo and parasites. Best of luck.

Royal is very cute! Since she seems to be doing well otherwise I would first suspect intestinal parasites. I would also be concerned about a GI obstruction or foreign body. I would also be concerned about the parvovirus. The vet should check for all of these things tomorrow. Good luck and kisses to Rover!

I believe I see milk in the bowl you have in the picture there. If that is the case I would stop giving that right away. Domino is more than old enough not to still be getting puppy milk. If she continues to vomit after stopping the milk, then it's best to take her to your vet for a full examination and possible testing to determine why she is vomiting so that we know how to best help her. Also I would recommend bathing her in Dawn dish detergent to strip all the fleas off her for now. Make sure not to get any in her eyes and follow up with an oatmeal based or aloe based shampoo and conditioner to prevent her skin from getting too dry. She is old enough for Revolution topical flea and heartworm preventative from your local vet, so I would recommend getting her hat to protect her from the fleas here moving forward.
