Puppy got shots. Is it safe to go outside? Flea & tick prevention?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 26 days old | 10.12 lbs

My puppy just got her vaccinations today she’s only 11 weeks old. I wanted to make sure if she’s able to go outside yet and what Can I give her to prevent fleas and ticks ?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

You can take her outside. There is a fine line between socializing and preventing her from contracting a contagious disease. Walks outside are fine. No dog parks, no playing with dogs that are not vaccinated, etc.

She is old enough for Nexgard, Revolution and Frontline for fleas and ticks.
