Will my 3-month puppy remember me or prefer my parents after a trip?

Nuba will remember you! Dogs have a very strong sense of smell, and your scent will be familiar to her when you come home. I'm sure she will be very happy to see you when you come home, have a safe trip :-)

If your family takes him out regularly to do his business he won't forget it. And of course he will not forget you. He will remember your smell. You are his pack. He will never forget that. Enjoy your holiday.

That sounds like an awfully big change for Spring, so he may experience some anxiety and stress about being chained up, especially if he hasn't before. Spring likely won't forget you if you return to him, as dogs have gone years before seeing their owners again and are usually happy at their return. Looking into seeing if someone else can watch him that can give him more time, or seeing if a rescue can take him temporarily into foster care may be better off for his mental and physical well-being. Being chained all day long with little exercise or care likely isn't the best for him. You may try contacting a local shelter in your area to see if they have any programs such as temporary fostering that may be a better option.

Hi there. Dogs are generally very good at forming new bonds when they change homes, so I doubt that this will be a problem at all :) You will need to keep up with his training and follow the directions you are given in order for his skills to stay sharp - but as long as you do this, he should adapt and remember his training just fine.

If you're not ready for a puppy, then you're right that the best thing for Mimi is to find her another home. It is going to be much easier for her to get attached to another person quickly at this early age than it will be later. We often describe that dogs live in the moment. So, while Mimi may miss you for a short period of time, she will quickly learn to love and be attached to her new owner. I know it's hard to give up such a sweet puppy, but if that's going to be the best thing for Mimi, then I would certainly recommend finding the right home for her. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. I can understand being concerned, but Echo will eventually recognize you as her owner. It's a good idea that you go over to visit her as much as you can, and I would make sure you go over when it's time to feed her both in the morning and night. Feeding her will help her recognize you as her owner, the awesome person that makes sure she has food! Also give her lots of love. A week isn't a long time for you not to live with Echo, it will be ok :-)
