Will my dog still love me after staying with my boyfriend for 2 weeks?

Nuba will remember you! Dogs have a very strong sense of smell, and your scent will be familiar to her when you come home. I'm sure she will be very happy to see you when you come home, have a safe trip :-)

Yes she will remember you but she will likely miss then when your return as she will have a new routine by then. She likely won't be more attached to your parents in that short time frame of care. But it is good she will get used to them and that environment for the future. It will make it less stressful down the road if she needs to watched again

That sounds like an awfully big change for Spring, so he may experience some anxiety and stress about being chained up, especially if he hasn't before. Spring likely won't forget you if you return to him, as dogs have gone years before seeing their owners again and are usually happy at their return. Looking into seeing if someone else can watch him that can give him more time, or seeing if a rescue can take him temporarily into foster care may be better off for his mental and physical well-being. Being chained all day long with little exercise or care likely isn't the best for him. You may try contacting a local shelter in your area to see if they have any programs such as temporary fostering that may be a better option.

If your family takes him out regularly to do his business he won't forget it. And of course he will not forget you. He will remember your smell. You are his pack. He will never forget that. Enjoy your holiday.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think this is perfectly ok and she will be fine. I am sure she will not hate you. Dogs understand more than we think and I am sure she knows you are leaving because you have to and you are coming back. What I recommend in these cases is to leave something with your scent like perhaps a t-shirt or something like that so that she can smell you when you are gone. This will help bring her comfort. It sounds as though you are quite worried about leaving Precious. Fortunately, dogs do not have the same sense of time that we do, nor the ability to anticipate scary occurrences. She may have some degree of anxiety, but many dogs enjoy their boarding experience and exposure to other people and change of scenery. I'm sure your vet will call if they have any concerns about Precious. Try to relax and enjoy your vacation! :-)

I can understand being concerned, but Echo will eventually recognize you as her owner. It's a good idea that you go over to visit her as much as you can, and I would make sure you go over when it's time to feed her both in the morning and night. Feeding her will help her recognize you as her owner, the awesome person that makes sure she has food! Also give her lots of love. A week isn't a long time for you not to live with Echo, it will be ok :-)
