Puppy licked Dial soap after cleaning a floor accident. Is she okay?

Hello, sorry to hear about Bella. The soap may upset her stomach a bit but should not be of major concern. However, I would be concerned if you think she has eaten some of the loofah as this could potentially to further upset her stomach or even lead to an obstruction. If you note Bella vomiting, lethargic, or having a decreased appetite, then I would recommend that shed be evaluated by her veterinarian soon. Hope this helps and best of luck.

If he has not developed signs of drooling, vomiting, gagging, retching so far, most likely he will be ok. Products used for cleaning carpets are irritant to the gums, esophagus and stomach but if he is liked only small amount of it, he should not get into any problems.

HE isn't likely to be blocked, the vomiting and diarrhea is to be expected due to the ingestion of the soap. as long as he is eating normally and is energetic you have no reason to suspect a blockage. stools may only appear after 48 hours due to the diarrhea that probably cleaned the whole intestines.

If Jazz is showing no symptoms by now, she will probably be fine. Symptoms to monitor for would be respiratory distress, red or inflamed skin, hair loss, itching, lethargy, excess salivation, excess thirst/urination or gastrointestinal upset (vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite). Seek veterinary attention if she develops any of these symptoms.

Hello. I think Stark will be just fine, especially if she did not puncture the bottle or lap up any spilled contents. This solution would be pretty nasty tasting & a little irritating, so if you have not noticed any drooling or salivating at this point, then she will be fine. Hello. Human toothpaste contains a lot of soap, especially like what is found in shampoo. That is why we spit it out. If this was only a one time ingestion, Nanny will probably be fine. She may have some GI upset such as vomiting & diarrhea, but it should be self limiting. If you have been using people toothpaste on her, stop & start using a dog only version. Had should be okay, you may notice he starts to salivate quite a bit, but it doesnt sound like he ate too much. Keep an eye for signs of an upset tummy and if he seems very poorly take him to the vet.
