My puppy got flea shampoo on her for seconds. Is she okay?

Coco will likely be just fine as long as this was a flea shampoo intended for dogs, and none of it got into his eyes. I recommend drying him gently with a towel and ensuring he stays warm enough. If he stops eating or drinking, or begins showing any unusual clinical signs such as wobbliness, trembling, or seizures, or he starts squinting his eyes, he should be seen by a veterinarian right away. I would monitor Mufasa for now and if he begins to tremble, shake, twitch or have seizures, take him to the veterinarian immediately. You did the right thing by rinsing him off immediately. Peaches is gorgeous. I'm wondering if there is Ragdoll in him. He certainly has that look, and since it takes two years for a Ragdoll's colors to come in fully, it will be interesting to see what develops over that time.

Usually the symptoms are pretty immediate. If you haven’t seen anything within 2-4 hours she will likely be fine. Most often what you will see is neurological symptoms. Anything abnormal, get her to a vet ASAP. I’d wait about a week before applying any topical flea/tick medications at this point. Please stay away from Hartz products in general. They are not recommended. I suggest you talk to your vet about what products are best to use in your area.

Hello. You should immediately wash your puppy to remove as much of the spray as possible. Use warm water and dish soap. Avoid getting soap in his eyes and water in his ears. Be sure to rinse him thoroughly and then towel dry and make sure he stays warm until he is fully dry. If you see muscle tremors, excessive salivation, paw flicking, vomiting, diarrhea, or lethargy, take her into a vet immediately. Hopefully, she will be fine.

However, I would encourage you to get a flea preventative/treatment product such as Bravecto or Frontline plus for example. Good luck and have a great day!
