Puppy fell from couch, seems fine. When would injury signs appear?

So I would watch for limping, stiffness or lethargy. But I would be surprised if she shows any symptoms. Good luck!

Puppies can heal quickly so please feel the leg and as long as it feels normal and he doesn’t cry then you can give him a few days to recover. I’d keep him quiet and take him out for potty breaks only for a day or two. If he’s still lame then you’ll need a veterinary exam to determine the cause. Poor Naila! I'm glad to hear that she is playing and active after the fall. Fortunately, falling from the couch is a relatively short distance. At this point, since Naila is active with no signs of pain or injury, there is nothing you need to do. However, closely watch her over the next day or so to make sure she continues moving around normally, acting normally, and is eating and drinking appropriately. If you observe any changes, she should see a vet for an exam. I hope that all goes well!

If Conley seems alert, responsive and non-painful at this point after the incident I doubt there is potential for head trauma. Signs of head trauma or internal injury would include lethargy, disorientation, different sized pupils or labored/irregular breathing. You also may want to make sure she is eating and drinking normally with no pain to make sure she didn't injure her mouth or a tooth during the fall. Puppies are pretty resilient and I would bet there are no lasting injuries.

Puppies are very resilient so Pi is probably fine. He would show a problem right away if he was injured. He certainly can get injured from falling so I would make sure he isn’t able to fall off the bed again or from someone’s arms. He could get a head or neck injury or break a bone so please be careful. Poor Louie! Keep a very close eye on him. If he appears dizzy or disorientated, has trouble walking, blood from the nose or ears, is painful, or is very lethargic, you must take him into a vet immediately.

He should be just fine. If he was going to be injured you would know by now. I would not be too worried. Just keep a good eye on him and if he starts limping or acting sick then get him to your vet for an exam but honestly, I think he will just be fine. No worries! Hope this helps. Best wishes.
