My lhasa pup is 3months old, when should I give her deworming syrup in the morning or at the night, before food or after food?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Usually there is no recommended time of day to give dewormer. If instructions were supplied with the medication I would follow those. I would try to give with a meal in the evening to increase the amount of time it is in the body. Kisses to Cookie!

Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This will be dependent on which specific dewormer you are using. If it is fenbendazole (Panacur) or Drontal, it is best to administer those with a meal or right after a meal as it is better absorbed this way. It should not matter if it is in the morning or at night. Good luck!
