Why does my puppy bark in the crate and won't potty outside?

Sassy is bound to be a bit confused at the new routing in your house, but you can help her learn a new way of doing things. Put her on a leash and take her outside to her designated spot. Do not walk around. Just stand there and repeat "go outside" or a similar phrase. As soon as she starts to go, repeat "go outside" and praise "good dog!" as she goes. When she is finished, bring her directly back inside. If she does not go after a reasonable amount of time, bring her in but do not remove the leash. Attach it to your belt loop and keep her with you. Don’t let her out of your sight! When you see her start to circle or sniff, take her right outdoors again and repeat the process. If she does mess in the house, do not scold her unless you actually catch her in the act. In that case, say "NO!" and take her right outside. Tell her to "go outside" and praise as she finishes. It's possible Kiara may not be getting enough time outside to go potty. Even if she goes once and then comes back in, her bladder may not be completely empty. Keeping her outside and letting her go 2-3 times before bringing her back in may help. Other options include keeping her in a gated off area until she is potty trained/proves she isn't going to have an accident, using an enzymatic cleaner on any areas she has an accident to discourage her from going there again, or even using the tether method of attaching her to you by a leash so you can catch her before she has an accident may help. Sadie is precious. First remember that she is still VERY young. At only 2 months old, there is still several weeks that she needs to learn. I usually expect puppies to sometimes take until they are 5-6 months old to be completely potty trained. If you aren't already, I would crate train her as this seems to be the quickest method. You did not mention if this is a new problem with Kash or an ongoing problem. If Kash was previously kennel trained and has just started going in his kennel, then I would certainly recommend having your veterinarian examine him and check a urine and/or fecal sample to make sure there isn't a medical reason for this. If a medical reason has been ruled out, then I would work on positive reinforcement when he goes outside. That may involve longer walks (rather than just going inside as soon as he goes), treats when he goes outside or verbal praise/excitement when he goes outside. You may also need to change when you walk him. For example if he tends to go 30 minutes after eating, then you may need to wait a little after eating to take him on a walk. And if you just take him outside in a yard instead of out on a walk, then you may want to start walking him. Four months is a very young age still and one where I wouldn't expect Fendi to be completely potty trained. That said, she should still be able to hold it about an hour or two, and if she can't, then scheduling a vet visit to make sure there isn't a health issue related first is a good idea. If she checks out healthy, sticking to a strict potty training routine is best. This means going out every 1-2 hours, after waking, eating, drinking, playing, etc to give her opportunities to go outside. If she is pottying in her kennel, it may be too big for her (it should be just big enough to comfortably lay down and turn around in, but not so big she can potty on one side and lay on the other.) Blocking off the house so she has limited access and limited chance to have an accident can also help. I am not a huge proponent of crate training. Though it can be effective to stop accidents and keep destructive chewing to a minimum. Overall I believe it leads to understimukated dogs. It seems she might need a small kennel. There should only be enough room for her to stand up and turn a complete circle. Any other room then they tend to soil in one area and lay in another so they do not get dirty. Puppies tend to get distracted easily and may find playing and exploring outside more important than going to the bathroom. I would start taking her out on leash and staying close by you reward her with treats as she goes in the correct place.
