My puppy ate ointment. He's normal. Is it toxic or dangerous?

Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 27 days old

My puppy just ate some of this ointment. He is acting normal. Should I be concern ?

Hi and thanks for your post on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

The Polysporin contents are not toxic. However, Willis may experience some transient vomiting or diarrhea.

It would be more concerning if Willis ate part of or the whole tube as that could cause a intestinal obstruction.
