It is likely that it did not hurt the puppies, as if it had, she likely would have aborted them by now. Playing with another dog also is not the type of stress that would hurt a pregnancy. Let her play and be happy. This would be the best environment for her. She does need a place where she can retire to so that the other dogs do not pester her when she would like to be left alone. Tell the children not to play footbal near the dogs.

The puppies are small and protected by the amniotic fluid and the placentas. I would keep her at home and have your friends not bring pets to your house for the duration of her pregnancy. The puppies are either reabsorbed into the body or the dog will pass them. If she was almost full term you can take her to the vet to check for any puppies still present in the uterus with an X-ray. Causes of miscarriage are: uterine infections, brucellosis, genetic issues with the puppies, other viral or bacterial infections and medications Snoopy may have received during pregnancy. If she is sick she should see a veterinarian. Any puppies that are full term and remain in the uterus will cause her to be sick. I wish you the best!

Depending on what boosters Ruby was given, some of these can be harmful to the fetus. Most vets will not give any vaccines to a pregnant animal regardless of the recommendations of the manufacturers. Of course this does not mean that every time a pregnant animals receives a vaccination they are guaranteed to abort. With respect to her pregnancy, it sounds like if she is pregnant she would be very early along making it extremely difficult to detect positively. The best methods of detecting pregnancy early along are with ultrasound, but I have a feeling even with this method you still may be a couple of weeks out before this becomes an available method of diagnosis. To my knowledge, acting fearful is not a sign of miscarriage so I can not speak to the correlation between the two. I would bring her into the veterinarian in a a couple of weeks to see if they can shed some light on things for you and Ruby.

There is a chance that the other puppies died as well. Take her temperature and if it is above 38.5C please Take Honey back to the vet. If there is a fever, she has infection which likely is caused either by dead puppies or by an infection that caused the miscarriage.

It appears indeed that your pug had a miscarriage. Hopefully she will give birth to the rest of the dead puppies within the next few hours. Take her back to the vet in the morning to make sure she has had all puppies and does not have an infection. She may need antibiotics depending on the condition of the dead puppies and herself, as she could become septic.

This is very concerning - she may be aborting a litter of puppes or may have an infection. I would recommend an urgent appointment and depending on the findings and an ultrasound scan an emergency spay operation may be recommended to prevent further blood loss.
