This is very concerning - she may be aborting a litter of puppes or may have an infection. I would recommend an urgent appointment and depending on the findings and an ultrasound scan an emergency spay operation may be recommended to prevent further blood loss. I recommend strict bed rest until you can arrange an emergency appointment

Hello. From what you are describing I am worried that she may have a rupture in her uterus or a pyometra. These are both lofe threatening and you need to bring her to a vet NOW. Call around to find the local animal emergency hospital and get her in. Good luck with her! Do not give ANY mediacations at home, these can be very dangerous especially if her blood pressure is low from loss of blood.

How lovely of you to take in Spot! It is not normal for a dog to bleed at all during pregnancy, and it can be a sign of a spontaneous abortion. She has to see a vet as soon as possible for this. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
