If you use fake grass or potty pads, just put down extra so that the potty area is bigger. This can be a normal discharge. She will start to nest, not eat as much and have some milk from her nipples when she is about to give birth. Most dogs don't have trouble having puppies but it's best to keep a close eye on her with allowing her privacy in a quiet area. Good luck with the puppies. I would recommend perhaps having her in a crate or maybe the laundry room/ bathroom at night? I would also consider using DAP, Or dog appeasing pheromones to help decrease her anxiety. This can be purchased at most all pet stores. I would also recommend an examination with your veterinarian to make sure there isn’t an underlying medical problem. In a pregnant dog it could be due to hormones, impending labor, from worms or diet change (most put pregnant dogs on puppy food). I would contact your vet for medications since she is pregnant, start a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice and add in a probiotic like Purina Fortiflora. If Lucy is not fully vaccinated I would worry about viral infections as well. I wish you and Lucy the best!

on day 51 she should be about 2 weeks from giving birth. she should start making breasts now, but there will not be milk until shortly before giving birth. she should, by now, also have gained in girth significantly. It would be a good idea to take Princess to a veterinarian for an xray to determine whether she is pregnant, and if so, to determine the number and size of the puppies and whether to expect complications. Leaking urine can have several causes, one being puppies pressing on the bladder, another being a urinary tract infection. Best take her to a vet for a check up.

Yes, I would be concerned. Blood in the urine can be caused by a UTI or bladder stones. In addition, the blood could be coming from her vaginal, and it is not normal for a dog to bleed when pregnant. Given that Ava is far along in her pregnancy, it is best that she is seen by a vet now for this problem. The vet can diagnosed what is causing this problem, and can treat accordingly.

Fishy smell usually comes from the anal glands, if it comes directly from the urine and she had an accident then she is likely to be suffering from a urinary infection, you need to take her to your vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated, she will likely need a course of antibiotics.
