Can I safely put Perrio Support powder in my dog's water, not food?

I can't imagine it changes how it works if you put it in a syringe with water if you immediately administer it. If it sits in water it may not be effective. I would first try it mixed in food or canned food. Use the water and syringe if that fails. I hope this helps!

It depends on the medication but typically the powder is in a capsule for a reason (to protect the medicine until it gets to the part of the GI tract where it is to be dissolved). Wet food can stick to the teeth more which can cause dental disease or may worsen current dental disease so you may want to stick to just the hard kibble unless your veterinarian has recommended extra water be added to his diet due to a medical condition (such as kidney disease for example).
