Is onion extract in dog broth safe for my puppy to eat daily?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 months and 12 days old | 23 lbs

A friend told me its safe to give this to my puppy, since she been it for years But I know this has onion extract in it Is this safe for any dogs?

Hello. It would be almost impossible to say how much onion extract is actually present in the broth. That being said, since it is the last ingredient & the broth ( which I use ) does not have a strong onion smell or taste, it is probably a very small amount. I would, however, not recommend giving this to your pet on a daily basis. Once in a while is fine, but a little onion extract daily MIGHT cause a problem. If you want to supplement Shawn's diet with broth every day, then go the homemade route & leave out any onions. Then you will also have some delicious chicken for treats or salad left over for you.
