How can I tell what breed my puppy is mixed with and if he's healthy?

He looks pretty cute! It's hard to guess a puppy's breed from a couple pictures. It does look like he needs some care. His big belly may be caused by intestinal parasites, and he may have an infection or mange on his face (I can't see clearly). His coat is a little dull, but I am sure that would be a glossy brown after a few weeks of a good puppy food and a bath. I would recommend that you take him to the vet for a good checkup. They can test him for intestinal parasites and check for mange. They can also get him started on proper vaccinations to protect him against common puppy diseases.

Hi there. I'm afraid it's not possible to tell what breed a puppy is just by looking at a photo, as coat color and length, general body shape, etc. often change a great deal as puppies grow. From what I can see, he looks like a medium-to-large breed of some sort. Possibly some kind of retriever mix, but that's just a guess. If you don't have any information about his parents, your best bet would be to have a DNA test such as a Wisdom panel done. This would give you more information about what breed (or mix of breeds) he is, which would allow you to make a more educated guess about his adult size and weight.

He is certainly a cutie! It is truly impossible to determine the origins of a mixed breed dog based on appearances. particularly one this young. I can see what could be cane corso or another mastiff/bully breed in his face. If you want to know his lineage I would recommend a genetic test. You can order the Wisdom Panel online or ask your vet if they have a test they can perform. As far as his size, it will depend on his parents if you have seen them, or for a very rough estimate we sometimes will see what the weight at 3 months is and triple this for a guess at adult size.

Drogo is super cute! So sorry but there is no way to tell what breed he is just by looking at the photos. If you asked 50 vets you would likely get at least 45 different answers/guesses. From th epictures he looks likehe may be a medium-large collie type and should do very well with obedience training and should be intelligent and high energy, Be sure to keep him occupied in order to prevent any desructive tendencies and consider crate training also. HE should be fed 4 times a day at such a young age and be sure to keep him up to date with monthly deworming medications. Your vet can help to estimate his age from his teeth and advise on dates for vaccination schedule

It is really hard to tell from the pictures how big Dukey is. Puppies are also hard to guess their breed because they don't have the typical adult features that we use when guessing at the breed. He may be a heeler variety, but I am not as familiar with breeds commonly found in India. Whatever breed he is, he looks very cute!

While it is difficult to say definitively what Leo may be, he sure is cute. He may be a mix of dachshund & chihuahua, or might even have a little corgi in him. Have him examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. He can tell you hold old Leo is, check his stool for parasites, & start him on age appropriate vaccinations.
