How can I identify my puppy's breed and predict its adult size?

Which breed this is, and also tell me height, weight also

Hi there. I'm afraid it's not possible to tell what breed a puppy is just by looking at a photo, as coat color and length, general body shape, etc. often change a great deal as puppies grow. From what I can see, he looks like a medium-to-large breed of some sort. Possibly some kind of retriever mix, but that's just a guess.

If you don't have any information about his parents, your best bet would be to have a DNA test such as a Wisdom panel done. This would give you more information about what breed (or mix of breeds) he is, which would allow you to make a more educated guess about his adult size and weight.

I can see what could be cane corso or another mastiff/bully breed in his face. If you want to know his lineage I would recommend a genetic test. As far as his size, it will depend on his parents if you have seen them, or for a very rough estimate we sometimes will see what the weight at 3 months is and triple this for a guess at adult size.

What a cute puppy! Looking at his age, current weight and build, I would guess somewhere between 40-50lbs. This is completely a guess however. There is a breed analysis called Wisdom Panel and it is fairly accurate on the adult size and is very accurate for the breeds detected. It's really impossible to tell from a picture alone. It looks like this must be a picture of Sharon as a puppy (since you list his weight as 58lbs, but the pictured dog is much closer to 10lbs). I would guess some combination of terrier, collie, and "other". I would recommend using a DNA test to get a better idea. Embark and Wisdom Panel are two options. Congrats on your new dog! Without seeing Kyle, I cannot say what kind of dog he is or how big he will grow. Unfortunately, there is no way to share photos on the forum, so you can request a consult with an expert online to share photos of him, and they can give their opinion on his breed and potential size. You can bring Kyle into the vet for their opinion. Kyle will need to see a vet anyway for vaccines, heartworm medications, deworming treatments, and flea medications, so you can simply as the vet during your appointment :-)

Hi there. Baby Rogie is really handsome! Unfortunately there is no way to know what breed he is just by looking at him. The only way to know for sure is to have a DNA test done. They are easy to do and inexpensive. I recommend Wisdom Panel.
