You could bath her paw with cold (not icy!) water or apply cold packs on the affected paw but if it gets really swollen I would have her checked by your veterinarian as she might need and anti-inflammatory injection. Ouch, poor Bongo! You did the right thing by taking out the stinger. Put a cold compress on it for five minutes at a time to help with the pain and swelling. Keep an eye on him. Check the inside of Jack's mouth (cheeks, outside of the gums, inner part of the gums, roof of the mouth, the tongue). A sting could cause these symptoms, as well as chewing on something sharp or foul tasting. If Jack seems comfortable for the rest of the day and eats dinner without issues, then I would think he is fine. If he doesn't feel like eating, if you see a wound in the mouth, or if you notice that the mouth, tongue, or muzzle starts to swell, then he should be examined by a vet right away.

No, I would not recommend giving her aspirin - this is not safe for use in dogs, and will interfere with your veterinarian's ability to treat her appropriately if she needs to see the vet for her sting. If the area is mildly swollen and sore but your pup is otherwise acting normal, you shouldn't need to do anything - just like a human with a wasp or bee sting, it will be sore for a few days but should resolve on its own. If she seems excessively painful, or if she has significant swelling or any other symptoms such as vomiting, hives, or difficulty breathing, then I would recommend taking her to the vet to be seen as these can be signs of a more serious reaction.
