My dog got stung by a bee on paw, no swelling. Should I worry?

  I don't know if the bee sting would cause limping if Lucky was completely normal this morning. With bee stings, I worry about allergic reactions first and then cellulitis/swelling/infection second. I would do "bed-rest" for a few days and see if the limping improves. If it doesn't, or if you notice swelling, fever, poor appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, etc, I would take him to the vet for evaluation. Bed-rest in a dog would be confinement to a kennel and leash walking when outside the kennel.

  Sarah's foot is probably still very tender and inflamed and may remain that way for a couple of days. It is great that you were able to remove the stinger from her paw, this will help the swelling go down more quickly. You can try to ice the foot to help with the swelling 2-3 times a day if she will tolerate it. She should be back to herself in no time.

  If she continues to limp tomorrow, then I would have Heaven examined by a vet. Most of these issues will work themselves out, and just make sure that she isn't licking or chewing on her feet, which will make the situation worse.
