My dog's white fur is stained. Can I use peroxide, baking soda, Dawn?

Hi there and thank you for your post! I would recommend using a shampoo, that you can pick up at your local pet store and bathe that area once per day for the next 14 days. If it does not come out, you may have to shave the hair off in that area to that the new hair will grow back the original color. I would recommend using a shampoo such as PS Douxo Chlorhexidine combination shampoo and bathe twice weekly until resolved. (Last year they ran a 25% off sale before Christmas, so I stocked up!) Yes, it is fine to use Dawn on Nikki's feet daily, but I suspect any gentle cleaner would be fine as well. You may have to experiment to find the best shampoo for her. Hello. If Sisi's coat was discolored or stained by a shampoo or dip, I would take her back to the groomer to see if they have a reversal or a product that can lighten the coat back. Surgically, you can have these removed but this procedure typically costs $3000 per eye in my experience. It is possible that the cataracts could be due to diabetes but without blood work, it is difficult to say. Even if this was due to diabetes, there is no reversing the condition once developed. The skin could be a skin infection or allergy. I would recommend using the following products, which can all be found online to see if this helps the skin. I hope this helps! Hi there, and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You could try washing your puppy in dawn dishwashing fluid and using a flea comb to pull off the eggs. Sometimes we have to clip the hair if they are completely stuck tightly-you may end up having to do this in places.
