My dog's white fur has yellow spray stains. How can I clean it?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 9 months old | 66 lbs

My pet dog has very minor wounds on which we had sprayed D'Mag but the spray though effective has left yellow stains on it's white coating which are very obvious. Please advice on how to get rid of the stains? Thank you.

Hi there and thank you for your post! I would recommend using a shampoo, that you can pick up at your local pet store and bathe that area once per day for the next 14 days. If it does not come out, you may have to shave the hair off in that area to that the new hair will grow back the original color. It is likely that this color will fade with time and it will not cause any harm to Jazzy. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
