My stray dog is weak and not eating. Could it be a parvo relapse?

I am sorry Omaze isn’t feeling well. Your description that isnhe weak has me concerned that he may be anemic. If he hasn’t been dewormed yet I would highly recommend a broad spectrum deworming. Parvo is typically accompanied by profuse vomiting and diarrhea although can be preceded by a short phase of fever and weakness. Poor appetite can be caused by many things including fever and dental pain and should be investigated by a vet if persisting longer than 24hours in puppies. If you did not receive vaccination paperwork I would be cautious and consider restarting course once he is well again

She could have parvo. If this is a stray dog I suggest you either take her to your local animal shelter or call animal control to come pick her up so she can get treatment. If you want to keep her then I suggest you take her to your local vet for an exam. I know this one is a little ways from you but you could call them for advice. I would be very concerned about parvovirus since a littermate died and the virus is extremely contagious and can be fatal. I recommend getting Pup to a vet as soon as possible to have her. tested for the virus. If she is positive, I recommend hospitalization with IV fluid therapy and medications because this virus can cause severe dehydration in a puppy that young. If she is negative, I recommend they test her stool for microscopic parasite eggs. Although she may have been dewormed, not all medications treat all parasites and she may have something that needs to be addressed. Good luck and kisses to Pup!

Parvo virus can occur in adult dogs but often is more of a worry in puppies. Rye could have some other infection or a GI foreign body or perforation if he chews or eats bones or other items. Addison's disease, parasites, kidney failure or diabetes mellitus can all cause vomiting. I would recomend getting Rye to vet for physical exam. Depending on exam findings they may recommend tests or may be able to start symptomatic care to help stop the vomitting and get him feeling better. The sooner he is evaluated and treated the easier treatment may be. If he becomes dehydrated or loses too much protein or nutrients from vomiting he may require fluid therapy or more aggressive treatment to recover. I hope Rye feels better soon. Hi. Im sorry for your loss. Apache's behavior is definitely concerning. If he isn't fully vaccinated by your veterinarian, then parvo is possible yes. Depressed over the loss to a degree is possible too. Unfortunately, without an exam, more history, maybe some diagnostics, it is impossible to say for sure. I'd get him in to be seen

Most pets will begin showing signs of recovery after 4-5 days of starting treatment. It sounds like Celie is still not doing as well as expected and that is concerning. I recommend to have her examined again. Have her bloodwork checked to see if she is struggling with low blood protein levels or low platelet numbers. Some pets may need additional colloid fluids or a plasma transfusion. Your veterinarian may also need to do an x-ray to see if there is something else going on like an intestinal blockage. Celie should also be eating a bland diet. I recommend one of the prescription diets like Hill's i/d or Royal Canin gastrointestinal. She may need to be force fed (but only do so with your veterinarian's approval). If you do continue to feed her baby food, make sure there are no onions or garlic in the ingredients. If you cannot get food into her easily, she may need a feeding tube placed or other form of parenternal nutrition. It sounds like you are trying very hard. I can't say if she should be examined tonight or not since I can't examine her and don't know what condition she is in. If she is declining though, she should be examined tonight for sure. Definitely have her checked first thing tomorrow morning if she does not go in tonight. I hope this helps and that Celie starts to recover as expected.
