Dog still vomiting, won't eat after vet visit. What can I do?

It's a small improvement that he has eaten something and drank some water, and the IV fluids he got likely helped with any dehydration. You need to take Tank back to the vet as there may be a more serious problem lurking, such a possible partial or even complete gastric or intestinal blockage. If the "vomiting pill" (cerenia?) is not working there is a mechanical obstruction possible. Since Tank is a young dog, he may have swallowed a toy or something that cannot be readily digested. In order to find out whether there is an obstruction the vet will need to do some x-rays, first without contrast medium, and then possibly with contrast medium if there is a serious suspicion of an obstruction. If Tank does not have a complete set of vaccinations, then there is also a possibility that he is suffering from a parvo infection. Pancreatitis is a further possible cause. Please take Tank back for a recheck.

It sometimes takes longer than 12 hours for a sick animal to get better. You will still have to try and hand feed her and syringe water into her if possible. If she does not start drinking after 24 hours, then your veterinarian may have to put her on iv fluids. Once she is hydrated she will likely feel less nauseous and will start drinking again and hopefully eating. Keep her comfortable, and tend to her like you would tend to a sick child. Poor girl. She may have an internal illness that is making her not want to eat. Since it has been more than 24 hrs I would encourage you to take her to your vet to get checked out. She may have an infection, organ malfunction, or a severe stomach upset from something she ate. She will likely need medications through your vet to help her get back on her feet. In the meantime you can try offering her small amounts of Pedialyte non-flavored (diluted 50:50 with water) and small amounts of a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. Given that Reign is vomiting the chicken and barely drinking water, it's time to see a vet. You've tried a home remedy and she can't keep it down. She needs a shot to stop the vomiting, IV fluids for hydration, and any other treatment the vet deems necessary. Please take her into a vet immediately.

I am sorry Negrita is not doing well. I would highly recommend taking her back to the vet for more aggressive testing. The vomiting can cause severe dehydration and might need aggressive supportive care. I would be concerned about infection, viruses or even an obstruction causing the continued vomiting.
