How flexible is timing for my dog's twice-daily prescriptions?

You can give a dose now an then match the next dose for the same time 12 hours later (ie: 9am/9pm). And then tomorrow go back to the 7am/7pm schedule if that is what works best for you. Dosing should be at least 8 hours apart. Hope this answers your question. Best wishes.

Teddy will likely be fine. Plan on giving him the next dose at 11am tomorrow morning to get him back in schedule. Watch him closely for vomiting, diarrhea or not eating well. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Hi there. You can give the Metrolag, Doxycycline and the Prednisone at the same time. There is no problem with that. The Maalox is the one to keep separate. I would give the Maalox one hour AFTER giving the other medications. If possible you should give Chiyo a probiotic as well. All those antibiotics are going to disrupt the normal population of bacteria in his intestines which may cause additional issues. I don't know what products are available in Lebanon so you may want to call your vet and ask about getting a probiotic. The order should be as followed: Cerenia first thing in the morning, one hour later Omeprazol and Sucralfate, then half an hour later Metronidazole (with food). If he does not throw up and his appetite is fine then there is nothing to worry about.

It is close enough you can get to your normal routine. If his twice a day dose is due at 9 you can give it tonight then start up once a day tomorrow. Whether you do once a in the morning it evening it does not matter, just stick to the time frame

I would probably go ahead and give the dose now - the timing usually isn't critical for this medication. If you are giving any other medications at the same time the recommendation might be different since omeprazole might change the absorption of some other medications.
