Forgot my dog's Omeprazole for upset stomach. Can I give it late?

I am afraid, that is not ok, as giving food (treats) right after administering omeprazole is the same as giving food before administering it. If she likes ice cubes you can give her an ice cube to play with.

The omeprazole should not interfere with the other meds. You can also do the following: Fast Jack for 12 hours and then put him on bland food for a day, such as boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken meat, fed in small quantities over several feeds and then transition back to regular food slowly. Should this not help or should Jack get lethargic, or get diarrhea or vomiting, he needs to see a veterinarian for an exam as there may be something more serious such as an infection going on

While we do not typically recommend Tums for dogs, you can safely give him some Prilosec (omeprazole), to help reduce acid secretion in the stomach and help him feel better. Prilosec generally comes in 20 mg tablets, so he could receive 40 mg orally twice daily. If the clinical signs persist beyond a day or so after trying the Prilosec, I recommend that he be seen by your veterinarian again, as a more serious problem could be present. It is best to give the next dose at his regularly scheduled time unless the dose you just gave was very close to it. 8-10 hours apart should be fine to get him back on his regular medical schedule. If he has any issues, or if you are concerned about the meds you are giving, it is best to speak with his treating veterinarian for more information.

While I think it is more common to prescribe omeprazole for once daily use there are reports of using it twice daily. If Lily has been on omeprazole once daily in the past it would be a good idea to check in with your vet to be sure that's the dose they intended.

It is close enough you can get to your normal routine. If his twice a day dose is due at 9 you can give it tonight then start up once a day tomorrow. Whether you do once a in the morning it evening it does not matter, just stick to the time frame

No, there isn't such a thing as giving them too early or too late, but I'd give them to Teddy at times that are convenient to you so he gets each dose at the same time each day. I'd also give them with food. I hope this helps.
