Yes, this can happen, especially if they just ate Right before hand. But, if it is a continual thing or vomiting is happening when the dog is not so worked up, please see your vet for some diagnostics. Try not to feed the dog right before a stressful event or before a big run. Bloating can be a problem is they eat and run too much, especially if they drink a lot of water.

IT could be both, try to buy a special bowl for him to eat slower (from any pet shop), don't let him go outside and play right after food to try and prevent this from happening. if it doesn't help - take him to the vet to get it checked and treated.

If he is still eating and drinking with no vomiting and playful then it may be from a tummy ache. If he seems to be panting heavily or trying to vomiting and not eating, then it is time to worry. Since he is so big, skipping a meal will not harm him and this may give his stomach a chance to rest.

I don't know if this happens every time after eating or rarely. It is not common to vomit with exercise every time after he eats. If that is the case I'd have him looked at by your Veterinarian. Things to try: Do not allow him to play after eating for 45 mins. Just keep him calm. Allow time for him to digest his meals. You could also try feeding him smaller meals more frequently so his stomach isn't so full. If the above things do not help, please see your Veterinarian! I wish you the best of luck!

It is not that unusual for a puppy to be sick, especially if he has been running around and eaten recently. As long as the pup seems in goid form I wouldnt worry too much. However if he seems dull or continues to vomit then a trip to the vet would be wise.

My dog has diarrhea and threw up after exercise. What's wrong?

If Dakota is still experiencing vomiting and/or diarrhea, she should be evaluated by her veterinarian. If a dog gets excited or worked up with play time or exercise, a small amount of diarrhea is common. However, it should resolve and there typically isn't vomiting. Good job on holding her off on dinner. Sometimes resting the GI tract can help resolve the vomiting and diarrhea. It is fine for a dog her size to go up to 24 hours without food, but always provide water so she doesn't get dehydrated. She may need fecal testing to rule out intestinal parasite or potentially bloodwork if the doctor suspects a more systemic problem. If she has abdominal pain, then x-rays will likely be warranted. I would recommend having Beamer evaluated by a vet. It's not normal to have vomiting and/or regurgitation regularly, and that extra acid in the stomach could lead to problems in the future. Your vet may want to do x-rays or other diagnostics to check for megaesophagus or other issues with the esophagus and stomach. They may recommend antacids, a different type of food, or a hypoallergenic diet.

My dog is throwing up white clear phlegm after playing, is it normal?

It's not normal to throw up from running around and playing. It's possible Kona has some tracheal irritation from a low grade infection or allergies and the exercise caused it to become worse. Irritation in the stomach could also cause the same clinical signs. You may consider having Kona examined by the veterinarian to be on the safe side. Resting Kona for the next week may also help (no activity that makes her pant or run). Monitor her for any respiratory symptoms such as coughing, sneezing or a runny nose. Also monitor her for an GI signs like vomiting, diarrhea or not eating well. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
