My puppy loves chewing cardboard. Is it safe if he swallows it?

Cardboard is pretty digestible and I wouldn't be concerned about Ava ingesting a piece that size. I think it should be fine to feed her dinner. You may or may not be able to recognize it in her stool, but again I think it's extremely unlikely that a small amount of cardboard would cause any problem.

They can chew on cardboard as long as they don't ingested large quantities. Offer rabbit safe wooden chew toys as well. Their teeth are constantly growing, so they need to chew to keep them at an appropriate length.

That was naughty of Domino to bite into that box! At this point in time, you don't have to do anything. Even if he ate a bit of the cardboard and plastic, it doesn't appear to be a large amount and should pass without problem. Domino should be ok :-)

Hi, I think if the pieces of plastic are quite small, they are likely to pass through his tummy without causing any issues. At this point in time, you can keep an eye for any signs relating to gastro-intestinal problems. Is Cashew eating well and passing normal faeces ? Is any sickness occurring ? If you haven't noticed any abnormal signs, you just ned to keep an eye on his faeces over the next few days, and make sure he is not straining nor in any pain. As long as the pieces are small, it is fine if they are ingested. He will digest them without any issues. Larger pieces pose a risk of gastric or intestinal obstruction. To be safe, remove the rawhide chews once they can fit entirely in Kai's mouth. Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian.

While it is unlikely to cause an intestinal obstruction, the splinters from the wood may get lodged in his gums. I recommend keeping a close eye on Hachi for signs such as lethargy, loss of appetite, or vomiting as these may be signs of an obstruction. You can prevent Hachi from chewing furniture by making sure he has plenty of teething toys available and by appropriately disciplining him when he does chew on the furniture. Hachi is adorable! It looks like the piece that has come off the sandal is very small, so hopefully Hachi will be able to pass that normally through this GI tract. You will want to closely monitor for any signs of a GI obstruction which would include vomiting, not feeling well or not wanting to eat.
