Why do my rabbits chew cardboard, and is it safe for them to play?

Hello. I recently received 2 9 week year old rabbits. I would like to know if it's safe to give them cardboard tubest to play with. And i have often seen them chew on thier cardboard floor and i would like to know why.

They can chew on cardboard as long as they don't ingested large quantities. Offer rabbit safe wooden chew toys as well. Their teeth are constantly growing, so they need to chew to keep them at an appropriate length.
