Why does my dog love sleeping in my bed and taking all her naps there?

It could just be that Mimi trusts you and wants you to be there with her and her puppies. Moving the puppies and whelping box closer to you may help make Mimi feel a bit more comfortable and let you sleep. If you suspect Mimi or any of the puppies may be ill and she is trying to alert you to this, seeking veterinary care in person is best.

Since Milo doesn't normally live with you he probably isn't possessive of this bed and he is young at 10 months. Anakin must like the bed. If it bothers you then I would keep removing Anakin from Milo's bed and try to keep each dog in their respective places but it may be a losing battled unless you physically separate the dogs at night in different rooms. As far as night time routines, you may wish to consider a crate for her if you do not want her I your bed at night. You can try placing the crate in your room as some dogs are happier when they are near you. Others will find this frustrating and want to be out and in your bed. In this case, try leaving the crate downstairs. Make the crate a happy place for her wothbspecoal treats and toys. Never use it for punishment or time out. You can place her in there for short intervals during the day as well to help her become accustomed to it. It may be a tough transition as she will still protest a bit. Silly Yogi! :) This is actually very common - many puppies and also adult dogs like to sleep under things, as it makes them feel more secure. One of my dogs actually likes to sleep with his head under the couch and his body sticking out; he's 9 years old now, and has always done this. As long as Yogi is acting normal otherwise, this shouldn't be any cause for concern.
