My dogs are shivering, drooling, and twitching. Are they poisoned?

This is most suspicious of a drug, medication, or poison ingestion. It would be good to have a look around the house and see if there is any possibility that he got into prescription medication, or illicit drugs. Certain plants, wild mushrooms and household chemicals (i.e. antifreeze) can also cause toxicity like this. Considering his current signs, it's best to take him to a vet as soon as possible. They can help identify the cause of this and ensure he doesn't have life-threatening complications. Certainly sounds like Tony is experiencing some sort of neurologic episode. While a toxin can definitely cause sudden neurological symptoms, so can inflammatory and infectious conditions, trauma, and some circulatory issues. Though Tony sounds pretty stable, I would not hesitate long in taking him to the veterinarian. There may be other clinical signs that are less obvious to you that require intervention. Do not delay, take him to your veterinarian or to the nearest veterinary ER. If he has been poisoned, he may need supportive care. Blood work may be able to determine if it is a metabolic issue as opposed to poison, but there is no way to test for specific poisons.

Your dog will need to be assessed and then either receive an antidote (if the poison is known) or supportive care such as fluids and activated charcoal and other medications as necessary.Try calling all the vet clinics in your area, they should tell you who is on call for emergencies

Rinse her mouth with cool running water for at least 15 minutes. Keep her head tilted downward to prevent aspiration of water. It is likely there is not enough toxin to cause serious toxicity. Monitor for weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, disorientation or seizures. Treatment is largely symptomatic. See your veterinarian if Shirley develops any of these symptoms.

That sounds serious! Even though yournone dog seems okay now I would recommend taking her to a vet right away - she may have had a seizure or have heart disease or low blood sugar. While there are toxins that can cause vomiting and toxins that can cause neurologic symptoms like loss of consciousness it is not very likely that someone is deliberately poisoning your dogs without your knowledge. I’d recommend seeing a veterinarian to have both dogs evaluated.
