My pet accidentally took too much pyrantel. Is an overdose harmful?

i accidentally gave my pet too much pyrantel. is this harmful?

Pyrantel is a very very safe medication and you'd have to give a healthy pet an obscene amount for it to be harmful. That said, if you're concerned, the best thing to do would be to call pet poison control (which does cost about $70, but may be covered by pet insurance if you have it) with your pet's weight and how much you gave, because even very safe meds can be overdosed if enough is given.
