My dog's poop is powdery and has a pink tint. Should I worry?

It looks granular, which would be caused by something Bibi has eaten. This could be colored pieces of kibble or things he chewed on that he shouldn't be eating, like pieces of plastic. If Bibi seems otherwise normal (eating and drinking normal, normal activity level), then I think it can wait until Monday to have him checked out. If he isn't acting normal, then he should see a vet this weekend.

The drops of blood may be due to a little stress or inflammation in the colon. You can try a bland diet for 3-5 days to see if it helps. If not, have her seen by your vet. You should also submit a stool sample to your veterinarian to rule out intestinal parasites (worms).

Please stop giving the carprofen in case that is causing the change in the stool. If Tria is otherwise normal you should be fine to wait until Monday. If she should have additional pink stool or she stops eating or starts vomiting then I would be concerned and take her in sooner. The ASPCA Poison Control does not show any evidence that poppy seeds are toxic to dogs. Sophia could have developed some upset stomach from eating this muffin, but given that 24 hours have passed without a sign, she should be ok. As for the bright pink in her stool, it's possible that ingredients in the muffin caused this color change, but it could also be blood. Keep an eye on her stool, and if you keep seeing this color in Sophia's stool, then I would have her seen by a vet.

Sometimes a change in diet will cause the stool to change color. Sometimes a mild viral infection can also cause this but again, I would not worry unless she loses her appetite or becomes lethargic. Some antibiotics may have this color. Pinkish feces are not normal, but I would recommend to wait and see if the signs are persistent or not.
