My dog has peanut butter poop after moving. Is it stress?

Probably just stress colitis from the trip. I would not be overly worried. I suggest you get her a probiotic to take for a week or so - one made for dogs, not humans. You can buy it at any large pet store like Petco.

It is probably stress colitis. I suggest you give him one dose of Immodium (loperamide) if you can find it there. JUST ONE DOSE - no more; one 2mg tablet. Next, withhold all food for 8 hours to let his intestines rest. Nothing. Water is fine to have available at all times. After 8 hours, you can start feeding him small amounts of his regular food every few hours (instead of one or two larger meals he gets). Finally, if you can, get him a probiotic I would feed him that for the next 2 weeks minimum. It must be one made for dogs. No human products. Hope this helps. Yes, I suggest you get him a probiotic to add to the food. Use the probiotic with the chicken and rice (no puppy food) for about 4 days and then go back to trying to transition him back to the puppy food. I like this probiotic. I think it is the best. You can use any probiotic made for dogs but I recommend Fortiflora. One packet on food daily. It is very palatable so dogs usually eat with no problem. You can offer him a bland diet for the next 3-5 days consistent of plain white rice, skinless and boneless boiled chicken, and low fat cottage cheese. If this does not improve his stools, or if he continues to have worsening urgency or blood in his stools then he may need anti-diarrhea medications and should be seen by his veterinarian. You can use it for 1-2 weeks to see if it makes a difference. If it does not, you can consider switching to a sensitive stomach type diet. If no improvement, have her evaluated by your veterinarian so that the stools can be assessed. If she develops diarrhea at any point before then at that point she should definitely be evaluated by her veterinarian. Good luck!
