My puppy Ruger is recovering from parvo, and I have a couple questions 1. Is it normal for him to sleep pretty much all day even if he's eating and drinking? 2. He went about 4 days without eating because of the parvo, and then he started eating about a day ago, and He's not having any bowel movements, is this ok? 3. When I go to pick him up to move him, he yelps, usually if i push on his belly or pull on his collar, do you have any ideas as to why this might be?

It sounds like a reasonable approach, since your puppy has recovered from parvo but his tummy is still quite sensitive and delicate. If Jet is still eating and lively I would not worry at this stage but feed him a bland diet for 3-4 days then gradually reintroduce his usual diet if feaces are solid.

Yes, it can happen that a dog doesn't poop for a bit after having had diarrhea. I would keep an eye on Gunner for now, and if he still isn't pooping in another 12-24 hours, I would have him seen by a vet.
