Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | neutered | 2 years and 6 months old | 18 lbs
My 2.5 yr old mini schnauzer has always been a bit of a picky eater, so I cook his food. We're selling our house, so he has likely been stressed with all the packing/cleaning/service people. But he has stopped eating. In the last 4 days he has maybe eaten 3 bites each day. His nose is dry...but when it's playtime, he seems absolutely normal. Should I be concerned?

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Remy is quite thin and with his clinical symptoms I would certainly have him examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I would recommend that he have his blood tested along with abdominal x-rays. He may have a congenital systemic disease, an infection or may have eaten something that is causing an intestinal obstruction. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
