My dog got Lysol in her face. She seems fine, but is it an emergency?

You could certainly go ahead and rinse Rocket's eye with some plain saline eye wash now, if you have some - it won't hurt anything, and might help if there are still any traces of the Lysol present. The biggest concern with getting Lysol in the eye would be irritation or ulceration of the cornea (the clear surface of the eye), which is usually quite painful. If he's squinting in the affected eye, or if the eye appears red or is having any drainage, then I would recommend taking him to an emergency vet today to have it checked. If the eye looks normal, then it's likely that not enough Lysol came into contact with his eye to cause any problems, and you shouldn't need to worry.

Check her mouth for excessive reddening. if it looks evenly pink then there is likely no problem, especially since she drank some water. if you see a lot of reddening, spots, lesions, take her to a vet right away.

You did the absolute right thing by bathing Luna as quickly as you did! Since she is no longer showing any symptoms she should be fine. Keep a close eye on her for the rest of the day in case anything changes. Things to look out for are itchy/red/inflamed skin and any change in her breathing pattern (in case she breathed in any of the spray). If she is still acting normal over the next few hours you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If you do notice any of these symptoms you should bring Luna in to the vet to be checked out.

Keep an eye on her and call your vet in the morning in case she does need to be seen. She may feel worse tomorrow because of being sore, but it's still a good idea to get her checked, especially if the other dog was larger and got a good bite in or shook her.

That was naughty of Luna to get ahold of this wipe. Luckily the wipe is bleach free, which is great! Likely she didn't eat it, but keep an eye on her for excessive drooling, mouth pain, lethargy, and decreased appetite. If you see any of those signs, have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!

I would be concerned if she develops difficulty breathing which could happen if the bleeding gets worse and she develops swelling of the airway, Based on the history and appearance of the pharynx, I would be worried that Luca may have a piece of the stick lodged behind the tissues. You need to discuss x-rays and or CT or surgery to explore the area. In summary, the safest thing to do is monitor for respiratory difficulty and take her to if the nearest veterinary emergency hospital if that happens. Otherwise, follow up with your veterinarian first thing tomorrow.

Getting sprayed in the eyes by a skunk is akin to getting sprayed in the eyes with tear gas. This requires immediately veterinary care.
