Is it normal to find live ticks on my dog after Bravecto treatment?

The ticks might still be attached but should be dead and very easy to remove. If it was an oral Bravecto it is fine for her to get a bath and I would think that regular shampoo should be fine. If it was a topical dose you need to wait 3 days after application to give a bath. You could manually remove the ticks or try using a flea comb.

I wouldn't mess with the remaining ticks, as if she's not letting you get them, you could potentially pull off their bodies and leave the heads, which could cause further irritation or infection. If you just gave the Bravecto, give it some time to work - it can take 12 hours to kill ticks that have latched on. If they aren't gone by tomorrow morning, let the vet take a look. Bravecto last for three months, but I prefer using a monthly topical treatment personally. That's because it can be reapplied after two weeks at the earliest if needed, while you would need to wait longer to give your pet Bravecto again.

It might be a flea that jumped on him after the application, this can happen but if you find more than one and they are alive then the product you are using is likely not working and you need to change it to something else such as Bravecto, Advantage or Revolution.
