It sounds as if your dog is indeed ill. It is not normal for her to have a stuffy nose and eye discharge, nor is it normal for her to be lethargic and not eating enough. Excesssive drinking is also a concern. She could be having a seripous infection such as distemper, or kidney failure or endocrine disease. She urgently needs to be seen by a veterinarian today.

Your pet needs to be seen by a vet right away. Even with no other symptoms, extreme lethargy is very concerning. Your dog may have eaten something that disagreed with her, swallowed something that has caused an obstruction, has parasites, is coming down with some kind of infection, there are a number of possibilities. Your vet will do an exam and labwork to determine the cause of your pets symptoms and give you some treatment options based on those results.

The diarrhea and vomiting has likely contributed to dehydration and subsequent lethargy, and this needs to be corrected as soon as possible at the vet, as he will most certainly continue to worsen otherwise. Possible causes include toxin ingestion, foreign body ingestion, gastroenteritis, or pancreatitis. I'm sorry to hear Thor isn't feeling well, While it is possible that Thor may have a cold, I would be concerned by his lethargy and not wanting to eat. At his age, we do become concerned about several possibilities, including kidney disease, liver disease, GI issues, diabetes, or a growth of some kind. If he does not improve within 24 hours or begins to worsen, I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian, have any necessary testing done (xrays, bloodwork) to determine what may be going on, and start any treatment that may be needed to help resolve it. Her lip licking may indicate that she is nauseous, and this could be contributing to her decreased appetite. Since she is an older girl, I recommend having her seen by your veterinarian at their next available appointment. He/she can do an exam and may recommend bloodwork to determine if there is any underlying liver or kidney disease that could be contributing to her clinical signs. Hi there. So sorry that Sara is not feeling well. Her symptoms are not specific for any one illness or disease process so it is hard for me to speculate as to what may be wrong. I can tell you however, that she is sick and she needs to be seen by a veterinarian for an examination. I am a bit worried that she could have a uterine infection since she is not spayed. If she is not up to date on her vaccinations she may have caught a viral disease like parvo or distemper. Those are just a few things that come to mind right away that might be going on.
