My dog is vomiting, has diarrhea, lethargic, breathing hard. ER vet?

Karma needs to be examined by a vet right away, especially if she is breathing heavy. She could have pancreatitis, gastritis/enteritis, infection, parasite, foreign body, etc. Your vet can do an examination, lab-work, and take an x-ray to help diagnose and then determine the best way to treat. She may need an anti-vomiting medication, antibiotic, fluids, and other medications, depending on the cause. Please call your vet and have her examined so treatment can be started.

Yes, i would definitely be taking odie in as soon as possible. It is likely he is dehydrated and nauseous and may need intravenous fluids alongside diagnosis. Obstruction from swallowing foreign bodies and severe gastroenteritis or pancreatitis would be high on the list of suspicions

It sounds like your dog is sick. The drooling can be due to nausea, and the lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, and diarrhea could be due to a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, pancreatitis, or a foreign body. I would take your dog into a vet right away for an exam, he sounds quite ill with all these symptoms, and he needs to be medically treated ASAP.

It is hard to know what exactly is going on however he is displaying some signs of potentially being sick such as labored breathing, lethargy and vomiting. I highly recommend that you have Harley evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to perform a physical examination and start there depending on what they think could be wrong. For example, if his lung sounds appear abnormal, they may proceed with chest X-rays. She could be sore from an unknown injury. She could have been exposed to or ingested a[ toxin](https://www.petcoach.co/article/5-cleaning-products-that-are-toxic-to-pets) or irritant in her environment or this could be early signs of another condition or disease process. A complete physical exam by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER would be recommended if symptoms persist for more than 24 hours. I sam so sorry that she’s not doing well. From what you describe, I’m very concerned about her and you need to seek emergency veterinary care immediately. Call your vet’s office even if they are closed—they likely have a recording for either how to contact the vet in case of an emergency, or information for the nearest vet clinic. There are many possible causes for what’s going on, but it sounds like at the very least she needs some IV fluids and some lab work and possible X-rays may be needed. I am so sorry there isn’t something I can suggest you do for her at home at this point, but if she’s just lying there, she seems cold, and her breathing is labored, you have got to get her to a vet. Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear about George's troubles. Diarrhea can be the result a of a few things - eating something unusual or not good for dogs (dietary indiscretion), toxin ingestion, bacterial or parasitic infection, metabolic diseases, obstruction, etc. Based on George's history of having to go to the emergency hospital before for this, I wouldn't wait much longer. He may have a very sensitive gastrointestinal tract and need more intervention than other dogs when he has an issue like this. Another reason I'd have him seen is because he is shaking and lethargic. He could feel painful (maybe he swallowed or ate something strange) and need some help there too and because he's starting to become lethargic. Also, gastrointestinal illnesses can sometimes encourage pancreatitis to develop (inflammation of the pancreas) which can be painful. Also to keep in mind is that the longer diarrhea continues the more likely it is for a patient to become dehydrated, even if they're drinking. I know my answer is pretty long, but I hope it explains why George may need to be seen right away by a doctor. Again I wouldn't wait much longer based on his history. He also seems like he's uncomfortable since he's shaking, so after a few more hours, if there's jo improvement, I'd take him in. Best of luck!
