If there is a localveterinary ER, Bean should be taken there for an exam. If this is not possible, confine her to a small room until morning when your veterinarian is available. Poor Stella! I would be concerned you may have stepped on her head or neck given the symptoms you have described. I do think she needs to be seen by a vet for a physical exam and x-rays to be safe, but if she is resting and not showing the same symptoms you described, it can wait until the morning. If she wakes up and shows those same symptoms again, appears very painful, has difficulty walking, her eyes appear bloodshot, and/or she starts bleeding from the nose or mouth, take her into an ER vet immediately. If your dog is not experiencing any neurologic deficits, is reacting light and is visually sound, and has normal mental acuity, it is unlikely there is any brain damage.
