Do ear mites cause vomiting in dogs? What are other common symptoms?

No, the diagnosis is not correct, diarrhea has absolutely nothing to do with diarrhea. It sounds as your dog is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

The two problems (gastrointestinal signs and ear canal infection/inflammation) may be related as both of them may be caused by an allergy. Most common ones are usually caused by food , flea and environmental causes. Ear canal inflammation, infection can be treated easily by applying some medicated (antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications) ear drops. If the problem keeps coming back, allergic disease can be investigated with some skin and blood tests.

Coughing can be a sign of many conditions such as pneumonia, bronchitis, heart disease, among many other possibilities. Ketomax should not be toxic if a small amount is ingested , but it probably tastes bad and could cause nausea. If he continues to attempt to vomit you may want to see a veterinarian since the gagging might also be unrelated.

Poor pups! The constant ear infections definitely could be secondary to Missy licking them constantly. I would not expect the vomiting be secondary to this usually. You could try to feed them some plain boiled boneless, skinless chicken and white rice to see if this helps. Also, if you opened up a bag of dog food around the time they both started vomiting, you may have a bad bag. I would consider opening up a new bag. Since it has been going on for quite some time, I would strongly recommend to have your vet take a look at them both. Your vet could do a fecal, blood work or even x-rays to see what is causing the vomiting and start them both on meds to help them feel better. I hope this helps!

There is a chance that this is related to the medication and so should stop within about 12 hours of stopping the medication. If your puppy is still vomiting after that then I would recommend taking her in to be examined and given medication to stop the vomiting. I am sorry Chico is not feeling well. I would recommend going back to the veterinarian. If he vomited blood it may be an upset stomach (possible ulcer) but it could be more. I typically recommend full blood work and X-rays be performed. If nothing shows up on either of those there is medication to help coat their stomach just in case they have an ulcer.
